Shane Duncan was an uncle to three McClanahan Dancers and stayed very active in the Irish Dancing lives of his three nieces: Brenna, Bailey and Ainsley. Every year you could expect to find Shane in the audience at the McClanahan Dance Recital and every year he would attend the Louisville Feis, cheering his nieces on. A semi-professional photographer, Shane took pictures, not only of his nieces, but also of McClanahan dancers, never asking for or expecting compensation in return. Shane Duncan was a truly great uncle who loved watching his Irish Dancing nieces grow and progress through their respective levels of dance. Uncle Shane will be missed very much by Brenna, Bailey and Ainsley and their brothers Keegan and Declan.
2010 Treble Reel Memorial Trophy in Honor of Sgt. John Strawn Nutter

The men and women of the Louisville Professional Firefighters, Local 345 dedicate this Treble Reel Memorial Trophy to Sgt. John Strawn Nutter. A proud firefighter, Sgt. Nutter lived a life of courage, bravery and dedication to a profession that he loved. A Beloved Brother and member of Truck Company #3, Sgt. Nutter made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on Aug. 3, 1994 when a roof collapsed under him while performing ventilation at a fire in a storage facility. We pay tribute to Sgt. Nutter’s service to humanity, to fellow firefighters and to the community.
